The evolution of my blog

I’ve had a blog for 20 years. My reasons for starting it were:

  • To share with the world everything I was learning, mostly about web development.
  • To have a reference for myself. I sometimes ran into the same errors, and it was easier to find them on my own blog than to search for them again online or in books.

There was a time when I got a lot of visits and comments from Mexico and Latin America, thanking me for solving problems people ran into while building web applications. Back then, sites like Stack Overflow didn’t exist yet, let alone AI tools.

The content was always very technical, solving problems around SQL Server, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Visual Studio, JavaScript, and much more.

Now all of that information is easy to find with a simple question to an AI, so I’ve decided my blog needs to evolve.

I’ll now be writing about the lessons, experiences, and decisions that come up while building software, developing products, and helping businesses solve real problems.

New focus, new design, and even new technology. 🎉
